The Voronin Family nailed it. I chatted with Melissa the Sunday prior to their shoot at our community pool. I guess I didn't realize she had *that* many kids. She said she didn't have high expectations as to not offend me, but rather warn me.
They show up, exit out of their car in sequence and the twins immediately start owning the shoot. This is going to be great. The whole shoot was relaxing, low stress and what you want out of a family shoot. Capture the personality of the family; not make them your next pinterest board.
I was reminded of something so simple, yet constantly find myself trying to morph the opposite way. Dont take yourself too seriously. We might have played whack-a-mole and sneezed and bonked heads and the kids might have thought I was the creepy lady that randomly showed up in the park taking their pictures; but they had fun. The kids were genuine and polite, you could see the respect they have for their parents and eachother.
Thank you Voronins for reminding me of the beauty of family and individuality If you can rock it with five, I can rock it with two!
Lauren
Note: Fun might have been had via bribery with ice cream.
